Recovery & Side Effects

This treatment has little to no downtime, side effects are minor and can include short term swelling, minor redness and skin flaking which can last for a few days.

Consultation

We will always start by reviewing your skin concerns and providing different treatment options for you. Your Nurse Practitioner will review your medical history, discuss before and after care, and answer any questions you might have. We will thoroughly review risks and benefits as well as what to expect post procedure. We will discuss pricing and the treatment details including the number of treatments needed to attain your desired aesthetic outcome.

Pre-Treatment

Your Nurse Practitioner will prep your skin and take photos of the areas receiving treatment. Topical numbing cream is applied on your face before microneedling.

The Treatment

Once the numbing cream has kicked in, we will prep your skin, apply the hyaluronic acid serum, and move the handheld microneedling device over your skin at a consistent speed. The microneedling pen has a customizable depth that will be tailored to your comfort level and skin needs.  A soothing and moisturizing face mask will be applied to your skin as the last step. Before you leave, we will also give you a moisturizing serum to take home with you which is to be applied twice a day.

Post Procedure

After your treatment is complete, we will review the post treatment instructions with you and provide you with your NP’s contact information. We encourage you to call, text or email if you have any questions or concerns.
